Sightseeing Tours
Helicopter sightseeing tours are based on a minimum of four passengers unless otherwise noted. Prices are available for groups of two or three, please call. For something a little different we can arrange a custom trip or accommodate large groups, including bus tours.
Bus Tours Welcome!
Shorter in time but not in scenery! Take advantage of a closer departure point to view the wonders of Mt. Robson, its glaciers, and surrounding peaks. Min 8, great for bus tours, easy access, close to Mt. Robson cafe and info centre.
Helicopter Tours
Helicopter tours are available daily year round. All trips leave the Yellowhead Helicopters Ltd. hangar on Highway 5 North, Valemount.
Berg Lake Drop-offs - $229 per person
Advance reservations are highly recommended due to the restrictions on both landing days and number of passengers per day imposed by the Provincial Park. A Visa, Mastercard or AMEX number on file is required to hold the space. Full payment charged on the day of the flight. Discounts for 8 or more passengers from the same group. Please call for further info.
Valley and Mountains - $99 per person - 12 minutes
Experience the thrill of a helicopter tour around our beautiful Valley of the Mountains.
Mount Terry Fox Tour - $159 per person - 20 minutes
A panoramic tour of Terry Fox Provincial Park, Mount Terry Fox in the Rockies Range and the Robson Valley with views of Mount Robson in the distance.
Premier Glacier Tour - $199 per person - 25 minutes
An excellent taste of the splendor of these mountains. This tour flies over the world famous heli skiing area with its open alpine meadows, large glaciers and rivers.
Majestic Mount Robson Tour - $229 per person - 36 minutes
A spectacular, once-in-a-lifetime view of majestic Canadian Rockies highest point, Mount Robson rising to 3900 M.(13,000 feet). See also such breath-taking sights as Valley of a Thousand Falls, Berg Lake, Berg Glacier and Kinney Lake.
Heli Snowshoe Tour - $329 per person - 4 hours (includes snowshoe rental)
• pick up @ Mt. Robson Info Centre
• scenic flight to Berg Lake area
• snowshoeing with a certified guide
* picnic lunch with hot beverages and fire at Hargreaves Chalet
* photo opportunities and return flight to Info Centre
Please dress accordingly, winter conditions change quickly especially in the Rockies.
Proper winter foot wear is not included.

BERG LAKE DROP- 2012
Berg Lake landings (Robson Pass) are limited to Mondays and Fridays, and Tuesdays after long weekends. Restrictions apply from May long weekend to September 21st. After this we may land any day of the week.
2012 long weekend landings:
We cannot land Wednesday, August 1st, we can land Thursday, August 2nd.
We cannot land Monday, September 3rd, we can land Tuesday, September 4th
Landing hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - morning flights begin at 8:30 AM.
Cancellation Policy-30 days prior flight date. Last minute cancellations unaccepted.
RATES FOR 2012:
$229.00 plus HST per person - min. 4 passengers
No charge for cancellations due to bad weather. Usually waiting an hour or two allows conditions to change. No postponing flights to next day. If you are planning on flying in and out due to physical restrictions please be aware that we cannot guarantee your return flight out if the weather is problematic. We strongly recommend you have sufficient supplies for a few days longer then anticipated.
Consideration is made getting from the trailhead parking lot to the helipad which is 4 km away at Denison Pit. You may drop off your group/ gear at Denison Pit, then return your vehicle to the trailhead parking lot. We'll shuttle your party's driver from that parking lot back to the helipad free of charge by prior arrangement. Be early to allow time to complete this shuttle.
Restriction of 35 lbs. of gear per person. Pack to reduce bulk, a gear surcharge may be applied to cover additional flying, or some gear may not be allowed.
Climbing party reservations must be made directly with Yellowhead Helicopters.
Camping spots are available for reservation 3 months in advance through Discover Camping at 1-800-689-9025. If no advance campsites are available, there is a registration/reservation program in place for camping spots through the Mt. Robson Visitor's Centre on the afternoon prior to, or day of the flight.
To date, there are no requirements for trail registration for day hikers on the Berg Lake Trail.
